"Established in 1994
Founded in 1994 by a small group of seven dedicated individuals, the Pragathi Sewa Foundation is a voluntary organization registered under the Registration Act of 1995. Over the years, our organization has grown and evolved, becoming a Guarantee Limited entity in 2009. Today, we stand as a medium-sized national organization, making significant strides in the fields of microfinance and social development.”
Its inception, Pragathi Sewa Foundation was a humble rural organization with a vision to uplift communities and empower individuals through sustainable initiatives. Our primary focus was on microfinance, providing financial services to underserved communities to enhance their livelihoods and create avenues for economic growth.
As we progressed, our mission expanded to embrace a wider range of initiatives. We took up the mantle of promoting organic agriculture and preserving traditional seeds to protect and nurture our environment while ensuring food security for future generations.
Making a Difference
At Pragathi Sewa Foundation, we are deeply committed to addressing health challenges faced by our communities. We have been actively working to reduce the prevalence of non-communicable diseases, including the deadly kidney diseases that have affected many lives. Through health interventions and awareness programs, we aim to improve the overall well-being of the people we serve.
